It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Harun Mburu Hiuhu, formerly of Kenchic.
He was a beloved son of the late Francis Hiuhu Ngangira and the late Jane Wanjiru Hiuhu, and stepson of the late Phillis Nyokabi.
A devoted and loving husband of Lilian Wairimu Mburu.
A caring father of Caroline Wanjiru, Martin Hiuhu, and Rodgers Kageni (Kiambu High School).
A proud grandfather of Tajie Mburu.
He was brother of the late Ngangira, the late Karuma, the late Gatei, the late Ndaba, the late Muiruri; Kahari, Wanjiku and Mumbi.
He was step-brother of Kahari, the late Ngangira, the late Karugia, the late Mumbi, Njeri, Gatei, the late Wanjiku, Munene, and the late Muiruri.
He was a cherished uncle and grandfather to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his residence in Membley Estate, Ruiru, Milimani Court, Usambara Lane, from 6:00 p.m., and at his rural home in Kamondo Village, Ikinu, Kiambu County.
The cortege will leave KU Referral Hospital on Wednesday, 18th February 2026, at 8:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service and burial at his rural home in Kamondo Village, Ikinu, Kiambu County.
