It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rev. Solomon Ng’ang’a Mutonga, formerly KDF Chaplaincy and ACK Clergyman. He resided at Gema, Gilgil, Nakuru County.
Son of the late Phillip Mutonga Ng’ang’a and the late Loise Wanjiru Mutonga.
Beloved husband of late Beatrice Mugure Ng’ang’a. Loving father of Eng. David Mutonga, Lucy Wanjiru, Timothy Migwi and Mark Mugo.
Brother of late Joshua Waweru, late Bilha Nyokabi and late Kamau Mutonga. Father-in-law of Salome Mutonga, Agnes Nyambura and Belinda Mugo. Grandparent of Daisy Muthoni and George Ngugi, Brian Ng’ang’a, Linet Mugure, Malaika Mugure, Ethan Ng’ang’a, Tando Ng’ang’a Kigen.
Great grandparent of Leon Kariuki, Shawn Ng’ang’a; Grace Wanjiru and Mike Kariuki.
Family and friends are meeting at St Andrew’s Church Old Chapel and family residence Gema Gilgil from 5:00 p.m for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves PNN Mortuary Gilgil on Tuesday 17/02/2026 at 9.00am for the funeral Service to be held at A.C.K St. Peters- Church Gilgil starting 11.00a.m. and thereafter burial at his Gilgil Home (Gema) on Ebburu Road.
