It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cyrus Mwangi Simba of Kibera Lind area, who died on 04/02/2026 after a long illness.
Cyrus was a beloved husband of the late Grace Kabura.
Father of Rev. Jane Kamau (GK Prison Nakuru), Arthur Maina, Emma Mwangi (Nairobi outpatient Gulf Hospital), Susan Muthoni, and Jadiel Kibaru (GK Prison Nyahururu).
Simba was Brother of Frachia Wambui,Virginia Wanjiru and the late Susan, Wanjohi, Mbaire, Murugi, Kimari, Wacera, Geoffrey and Kangeu. Brother-in-law to, Githu, Wairimu, Mbuu and the late Uimbia.
He was Father-in-law of Erastus, Dr. Kamau, and Charity. Grandpa of Kelvin, Michael, Margaret, Kevin, Cyrus, Shillah, Joy, Ivy, Stacy, Nicole, Alvin, and Ryan, and a great-grandfather of Andrea.
Friends and family are meeting daily at his home Gathuke-ini Muranga and at Nairobi Sunstar Hotel, Thika road.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday 13th February 2026 at 8am.
Prayers and burial service at ACK Gathuke-ini church 10:30 am and thereafter to be buried at his home Gathuke-ini, Gwakinduma.
Rest in peace Dad, Guka, Uncle.
