It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Willie Kabari Njuguna after ailing for a long time on the evening of
Thursday, 5/02/2026 in Icu at a Nairobi Hospital.
Willie was the beloved husband of the late Sarah Pamela Njuguna. Father of Nancy & Daniel Kariungi, Jackie & Joe Ireri, Shiru & Shiroya and Jean Kabari.
Doting grandpa of Sheila, Sarah, Ramon, Brian, Makena and Cheptoo. He was son of the late Mwalimu Patrick Njuguna Kabari and Grace Waithera.
Brother of Esther & Reuben Gicho, Jostine & late Silas Muhindi, Maggie Wahu, Wairimu, the late Gaceru & Joyce, George Njuguna and Suzanne Njenga, Ng’endo & Njogu Chianda and the late Kate.
Son in-law of Ex Senior Chief Boniface Mwangi Kivuti and the late Fortunate Mwangi.
Brother in-law of Clement & Vero Nyaga, Jean Kivuti, the late Lawrence & Jane, Grace & Gabriel Waweru, the late John & Fridah, Charles & Val Njagi, Catherine Njoki Uncle and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his Murinduko home.
Funeral Service and burial will be at his home, Karuangi, Murinduko, Kirinyaga on Thursday, 12/02/2026 starting at 10.00am
