It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Eliud Muchi Wasige (formerly of DCI) which occurred on 30th January 2026.
He was son of late Charles Wasige Binyenya and late Lorna Nanyama Wasige of Makhonge Village, Kamukuywa Division. Loving husband of Violet Oyangi and late Netty Kituyi.
Father of Anne, Charles, Brenda, Phostine, Lorna, Pauline, Binyenya, Dennis and Morgan.
Father in-law of Joseph Barasa and Moses Watitwa.
Son in-law of late Gladys and late Joseph Kituyi Nyaranga of Kibichore and late Tiras and late Margaret Oyangi of Mbale,Vihiga County.
He was brother of late Bernard, Everett Wasige ( rtd PPO Rift Valley), Leonard, late Richard, Ronald, Prof. Edward Wasige (Glasgow University), Janet and Linet.
Nephew of Ibrahim Muchi, Michael, Nelson, George Mukuusi, late Edward Wanunda, late Rose Masinde, late Bridgette Sichangi, late Selina Wekesa, Johndee Mecca, Prof. Battan Khaemba and Sella Liko.
Loving uncle of Sheila Binyenya, Benjamin, Dr. Agosta, Jeremiah, Makinia, Brenda, Brian, Valerie, Lornah among others.
In-law of late Juliet, Gladys, Everlyn, Winnie, Judy, Brenda and Titus.
Cousin of the Bakuusi and Agosino families including Masindes, Sichangi’s, Wekesa’s, Mecca’s, Khaemba’s, Liko’s among others.
The body leaves Delight Funeral Home, Kimilili on 13th February 2026 for overnight vigil at his home.
Burial will be on 14th February 2026 at his home in Makhonge village, Kamukuywa Division.
