It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Muriuki Gachoki which occurred on Monday 2nd February 2026 after a long illness bravely borne.
He was beloved son of the late Festus Gachoki and Elizabeth Muthoni of Rwathia Karumandi Sub-Location.
A Devoted husband of Sicily Njoki. Loving father of Cyprian Gichobi, Elizabeth Wanjiku, Daniel Gachoki, Dr Elijah Murage (Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd) and Lina Njeri.
Father in-law of Dianah Wambui and grandfather of Velma Nyakio, Joypeace Nyakio, Davis Muriuki, Amaya Zawadi, Angel Njoki, Chloe Wanjiru, Skyler Wanjiku, Tyler Muriuki and Liam Muriuki.
He was brother of Francis Gichobi, Sicily Njoki and late Samuel Muchira.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Thúmaita Kamúgúnda Village and Castle Garden off Thika Road from 6pm.
The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home – Kutus on Wednesday, 11th February 2026 at 8am.
Funeral service and burial will be at his home in Kamúgúnda Thúmaita Village, Karumandi in Gichugu, Kirinyaga East.
