It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mwalimu Gabriel Kipngetich Bett.
Son of Mzee John Kibet Terer and Mama Jeneffer Kibet Terer.
Brother of Rhoda Songok,Wilson Bett, late Leah Chepkwony, David Bett, Jane Rono, Rev. Josphat Bett (ACK), Mary Bett, Sammy Bett, Grace Ng’eno, Stephen Onjuso, and Ernest Bett.
Husband of Nahum Jerono Kipngetich. Father of Madam Gabriella Chepchumba (KU B.Ed), Emmanuel Cherotich (Mt. Kenya University), Cyryll Kiptoo (former student, St. Joseph’s National School Kitale, 2025), Anderian Kipruto (St. Matthews Maraba), and Suriel Kiplimo.
Fund raising will be held on Wednesday 4 th February 2026 at his Potopoto home, all are welcome.
The cortege will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital on Thursday 5th February, and burial will take place on Friday 6th February 2026 at his home at Kipsumbai Village, Potopoto Shopping Centre in Chemelil/Chemase Ward, Tinderet Sub County, Nandi County
