It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joan Nyachomba Benson of Kenyatta National Hospital after an illness bravely borne.
Beloved wife of Benson Murithi Njoka of National Lands Commission.
Mother of Ivan Mwenda and Alvin Macharia of Hebron Brook Academy, Ngumba.
Daughter of Mr Johnson Macharia & Mrs Jedidah Muthoni of Giakaibei village, Karatina.
Cherished sister of Dr. Catherine & Prof. Gideon Mutie, Jerioth & Paul Kariuki, Beatrice & Anthony Mbutiti, Rachel & Zakayo Komen, Elizabeth & Dennis Mwiti and Peter Kuira.
Daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Japhlet and Kellen Njoka of Kirigo Village, Chuka and a sister- in-law of Mutembei & Alice, Kawira, Kambura & Walter, Gacheri & Mugendi, Makena & Karani.
Aunt of Rebecca, Keren, Charles, Josephine, Claire, Dahlia, Ethan, Kyla, Jayden, Shayna, Elyana, Brian, Clinton, Macharia, Mutugi, Murimi, Christine,Vicky, Emma, Abigael, Brandon & Pendo.
Prayer meetings are being held at PCEA Zimmerman starting at 7.00 pm on Thursday-Saturday and at their home in Ngumba.
There will be a memorial service at PCEA Zimmerman on Sunday 1st February starting at 4.00 pm
The cortege leaves KU Referral Funeral Home on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at 6.00 am for the burial service and Interment Service at 10.00am at their home in Kirigo Village, Mukuuni Location, Chuka.
Joan Nyachomba Benson has fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith
