It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Eunice Ndindi Irungu, which occurred on 18th January 2026 at Premier Hospital, Nyali, Mombasa.
Eunice was the beloved wife of Dr. David Irungu Mwangi. Loving mother of the late Mugure and Ruth Waithera.
She was a beloved daughter in-law of the late Martin Mwangi Dishon and the late Mary Mugure Mwangi.
Cherished mother-in-law of Charles Ngigi Mbira, and a devoted grandmother of Jude, Jayden, Lisa and Sean.
She was the loving daughter of the late Stephen Mwilu Mutolo and the late Naomi Nundu Mwilu.
A dear sister of Idah Wavinya Kivuva, the late Dorothy Waeni Kakuti, Duncan Mumo Mwilu (Ngooni Supermarkets), Prof. Stephen Musyoki, Dr. Gladys Mwende Musuva, the late David Lundi Mwilu, the late Mackson Mbithi and Ann Ndiwa Mbithi.
Eunice was the sister in-law of Julius Kiseve, Amb.B.K. Kisilu, Veronicah K. Mumo, Daniel Wasua, Jane Lundi, Benjamin Kinyumu, Elizabeth Njeri Wainaina, the late Dr. Zacharia Njoroge Wainaina, Joseph Macharia, Grace Wairimu Macharia, John Njuguna and Rose Nafwa.
A cherished in-law of J Michael Mbira Ngigi, Margaret Wairimu Mbira and a beloved member of the extended Ngigi family.
The burial is set to take place on Wednesday 28th January 2026 in Karuta Village, Kiamara, Gacharaigu Location, Murang’a County.
The funeral procession will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati at 9.00am.
