It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Rogers Peter Kinywee formerly of KALRO – Katumani and DryLand seed Machakos.
It occurred on 18th January 2026 after a road accident. He was son of the late Samson Kinywee Katio and Alice Munee. Beloved husband of Mrs Esther Rogers Kinywee and a cherished father of Judy Mwende, Benjamin Musembi, Rachael Kamene, Samson Musyoki, JoyAlice and Isaac Kioko.
Grandfather of Mitchell, Melanie, Leone, Kimberly, Melissa, Bryan, Ivannah, Latiffa, Meghan, Ndanu and Cleo.
Son in law of the late Muthike Kiiti and Priscilla Mbithe.
Father in-law of Julius, Rachael, Sam, Charles and Prudence. Brother of Elijah Muthusi, late Richard, late Jonathan, Reginah, late Joshua, Beatrice, Mwongeli and Julius Kinywee formerly of Department of Agriculture, Makueni County.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos at 8.00am for the funeral and burial rites at his home in Kasunguni Village, Makueni County on Friday 30th January 2026.
