Sister of the late Grace Wairimu Gatoto of Kigoro, Simon Mwangi Methu of Turi, Wambui Kamau (wa Gicumbi) of Irima-ini and Esther Waitherero of Njoro.
Beloved mother of the late Julia Wanjiru, the late James Karanja (Mucheke), the late Samuel Maina (WaRuth), Grace Njeri Njoroge (Wa Jimmie) of Giteme, Joseph Njuguna (JR) of Ndaka-ini, Julius Mucheke (Muchiri) of Juja and Director David Mugo (DM) of Ngere Tea Factory (formerly of KRA).
Mother in Love of Rev. Joseph Karanja Kinyanjui, the late Nancy Nyambura, Teresia Wambui, Virginia Ruguru of Utawala, the late James Njoroge, Rosemary Wanjiku, Jane Wanjiru and Esther Wanjiku.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Ndaka-ini home from 3.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monaliza Funeral Home (Kabati) on Monday 15th December 2025 at 8.00am.
Funeral service shall take place at Ndaka-ini Primary School grounds followed by interment at her Home at Kabogoro
