It is with deep sorrow, yet with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we annouce the passing of our beloved James Gaitho Gachoya on Tuesday, 25th November 2025.
Born in Karuri Banana in the year 1946. Mr.Gaitho was the son of the late Simon Gachoya Muthongo and the late Rahab Wambui Gachoya.
He was a devoted husband of Margaret Wanjiru Gaitho, loving father of Pharis Muigai Gaitho & Miriam Wanjiku, Rahab Wambui Gaitho, Simon Kimani Gaitho & Veronica Mbute, Lilian Kamwende Mungai & Victor Mungai and David Kori Gaitho.
He was a brother of David Kori Gachoya, Hannah Njeri Gichui, the late Alice Wangui Maina, Silas Nganga Gachoya, Samuel Mucai Gachoya, Mary Wanjiku Gachoya and the late Jane Nyambura Gachoya.
He was a grandfather to many.
Family and friends are meeting at his home daily in Thindigua, Kiambu County for funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta Teaching and Referral Hostpital along by-pass on 4th of December 2025 at 8.00AM.
Funeral and burial service will take place in Ikuma, Githumu Kandara Sub County in Muranga County at his farm.
