It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lucy Wangari Kahindo, which occurred on Tuesday, 11th November 2025.
Lucy was born to the late John and Margaret Wanguru, and was sister of the late Hannah Wambui Muthanga, the late Joseph Karanja, Margaret Mwihaki, Virginia Wanjiku, the late Joseph Wanguru, the late Michael Wanguru, the late Wanjiru Kariagwe and the late Cecilia Karanja.
She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Kahindo, and together they were blessed with children: Mumbi Kahindo, the late Hilda Njau, the late Stella Njeri, Lillian Wambui, Ann-Rita Wangechi, Wanjohi Kahindo, Susan Mwihaki and Christine Kimuhu.
She was a cherished grandmother of Sandy, Kevan, Stacey, Kiama, Hans, Mbuguss, Kinyanjui, Geno, Gweth, Kimmy, Kuria, and Wangeci.
The burial will take place at her home in Iruri Sub-Location, Iriaini Village, Murang’a County, on Saturday, 15th November 2025, from 10:00 a.m.
Daily meetings are being held at her home in Iruri at 3:00pm.
There will also be a meeting at All Saints Cathedral, today Thursday 13th November, at 4:30p.m.
