We are saddened to announce the death of Alice Ayoma Gai at Jersey City Medical Centre, USA.
She was mother of Linder Awuor and Mark Finley. She was a beloved daughter of the late Dan Gai Aloo and Risper Akoko Gai of Nyasanja, Lambwe Valley.
She was sister of Dr. Eunice Misiani, Dr. Judith Ojunga, Linet Gai, Betty Anyago, Advocate Wilfred Ochieng Gai, and Pr. Philip Gai.
Sister in-law of Dr. Samuel Misiani, Micaiah Ojunga, Robert Anyago, Tinna and Dr. Knollyne.
Aunt of Allen, Jesse, Benjamin, Joy, Claire, Cromwell, Awah, Gladwell, Lissa, Robinson, Maxwell, Thomas and Olivia.
Cousin of Gershom Omungu of UK, Milly, Davish Polo among others. Niece of Nathan Ariwo, Elga Agalo, the late Edward Agalo, the late Sila Agalo, Rita Kungu, Simeon Agalo and the late Col. Kepha Agalo.
The family are meeting for daily prayers at Kileleshwa, Nairobi.
Burial will take place at her home in Nyandiwa, Homa-bay County on Friday, 14th November 2025.
