It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Francis Mwaniki Kamwathi formerly of Telkom Kenya, which occurred on 21st October 2025.
Son of the late Hezron and Wanjeri Kamwathi. Husband of Jane Wangui Mwaniki.
Son-in-law of the late Muiruri and the late Loise Waithera Loving father of Rosemary, late Patrick, late Margaret, Robert, Rosalia and Benard.
Adoring father of adopted son Father John Aluado.
Father-in-law of the late James Maina Muchiri, Magdaline Kamwathi, Gerthard and Emmy Kamau.
Brother of Rosalia Wanjiru (Meru), late Grace Wanjiku (Thika), Peter Kihoto (Nakuru), Lucy Nyokabi (Mbs), Joy Wanjiru (Mbs) and others. He was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Uncle to many.
Francis will be remembered for his warmth, Kindness and unwavering Christian faith.
Family & Friends are meeting daily at his home in Huruma Estate, Eldoret for prayers &funeral arrangements
The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on 31st October 2025 at 8:00 am for a funeral mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, Huruma, Eldoret and later to be laid to rest at Kiplombe cemetery, Eldoret.
