1971 – 2025
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of Dr. Foulata Tabitha Kwena of Emauko – Marachi Busia and Funyula on 14th October 2025 after a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emily Aoko Kwena.
She was wife of the late Patrick M. Shilisia; Mother of Tara, the late Ray, the late Sam, and the late Sonia.
Sister of the late Jane, the late Solomon, Esther, Julius, Truphena and David Kwena, the late Mathew, Tito and the late Christine.
An aunt of many others.
The cortege will leave the Coptic hospital mortuary on 27th October, 2025 at 2.00pm for an overnight vigil at her Karen home.
Requim Mass will be held on 28th October, 2025 at ACK St. Mathew’s Hardy, Karen Nairobi.
Burial will be at Langata Cemetery thereafter.
