It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Assumpta Wanjiru Mbugua of the Parliamentary Service Commission. Assumpta was a diligent officer, humble, social and a very friendly person.
She was the loving daughter of the late Daniel Njoroge Muya and Jane Wambui Njoroge, a dear wife of Retired Senior Chief Mbugua Kimani.
Cherished mother of Frida Nagi, Kimani, the late Njoroge and Ng’ang’a. Mother in law of Bishop Karanja and Rebecca, Sister of Esther, Njambi, the late Njeri, Joan, Muya, Franco and Simon. Dear Grandmother of Ammiel, Jamiel, Ciku, Mbugua and Shiru among others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Tharuni/Village Limuru Constituency.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home along Mbagathi way on Tuesday 20th October 2026 at 7:00 am, for the Funeral Service at Tharuni Primary School and thereafter she will be laid to rest at her home in Tharuni,Limuru.
