It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Cyrus Kanyi Muigo of Koinange Estate, Shabab Nakuru which occurred on 11th October 2026.
Son of the late Philip Muigo Gichaga and late Monica Wanjiru Muigo.
Brother of the late Zakayo Gichaga Muigo, late George Munene Muigo, late Lydia Wakarindi Wango and late Scholastica Nyambura Muhoro.
Son-in-law of the late Joseph Ndegwa and late Rahab Muthoni.
Husband of the late Teresiah Nyawira Kanyi. Father of Phillip Muigo, Nelson Ndegwa, Monicah Wanjiru (Mak Deli), Jessica Wakarindi, Jacqueline Muthoni (JD), Father-in-law of Felistus Wanjiru and Njuguna Kamanga Advocate.
Grandfather of Andrew, Eugenia, Tevin, Ryan, Tracy, Elsie, Eric, Kevin, Vanessa, Noela, Vannetta and Shawn.
Daily meetings are being held every evening at his home Koinange Estate, Shabab and Nakuru Athletic Club (NAC) from 5.00pm. Burial ceremony will be held on Saturday 17th October 2026 at St. Joseph Karuthi Catholic Parish Church and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his farm Githunguri village, Karuthi Sub-location, Chingia ward Nyeri South Sub county.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
