It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Clement Gituku Wangai, who went to be with the Lord on 8th October 2026 at the age of 68.
He was the beloved husband of Roselyn Mugure Gituku and a loving father of Kennedy Wangai, Lawrence Gitau, Samuel Ngeene, Nelson Maina, Evalyne Wanjiku, and Kelvin Kirugi.
He was the son of the late Peter Wangai Muindo and the late Hannah Wanjiku Wangai, and son-in-law of George Gitau and the late Milka Mugure.
A cherished brother of Samuel C. Ngeene, Francis Muroki, Salome Wanja, John Mbugu, Joseph Njiha, the late Mary Njeri, Michael Ibongo, Jane Kari, and George Muhu.
He was father-in-law of Mercy, Lilian, Pauline, and Hannah, and a proud grandfather of Roman, Milan, RyLee, Maris, Iris, and many others. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Daily prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at his home in Kagongo, Ting’ang’a, Kiambu. The cortege will depart from St. Teresa Hospital Mortuary, Thindigua, on Friday, 16th October 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Ting’ang’a, on Friday, 16th October 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at his home in Kagongo.
