MRS. PRISCILLA NTHANG’A MURIRA – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Priscilla Nthang’a Murira, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday 4th October, 2026 at the age of 82 years.

She was the first born daughter of the late M’Marete Mathiu and the late Joyce Karoki Marete.

She was the loving wife of the late Snr. Sergeant Daniel Murira Mucheke.

She was a devoted mother of Martha Gacheri Githinji and Dr. Stephen Githinji Mutahi, Joy Nkirote and Elijah Murithi, Eng. Silas Kinoti (DG- KURA) and Dr. Ruth Kinoti, the late Eunice Mwari, James Kithinji, Douglas Mwirigi and Farida Kagwira, and Caroline Kanana.

A dear sister of Nancy Mparu and Julius Muriungi Marete and Rose Kanyua Muriungi. Step-sister of the Late Erastus Marete & Bridget Marete, the late Godfrey Ikiara & Marion Godfrey, Zipporah Stephano & the late Stephano and Evangeline Rigiri & John. She is a cherished aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Daily prayers and funeral arrangements are ongoing at her home Kiandugi, ZT Lounge Meru town and Githinji Mutah’s residence in Ruiru from 4:00 PM.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 15th October, 2026 from 10:00 AM at the MCK -Kibirichia, Meru County. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at her home in Kiandugu Village.
