With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we, the family of Faustino Arithi, announce the passing on of our beloved patriarch in the early morning hours of Tuesday, 29th September, while undergoing treatment at the Mater Hospital.
He was the son of the late M’Riria M’Achiuri and the late Karal M’Riria, and husband of the late Mary Gakiru.
The Requiem Masses will be held as follows: Ridgeways on Tuesday, 6th October 2026, from 4:00 p.m.; Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Don Bosco Upper Hill, on Thursday, 8th October 2026, from 2:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 14th October 2026, for the Funeral Mass at Nyaagi Primary School grounds from 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at his home in Nyaagi Village, Abogeta West, Meru County.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
