It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Pastor Aaron Richard Kibet Soi of Bukacha – Kiromwok Location – Merigi Ward, Bomet County and Keongo – Kericho County after a short illness bravely borne.
He was the firstborn child of the late Kipng’erechi and Recho Tabutany Chebos.
Step-son of the late Bornes Tabelgaa.
He was husband of the late Mary Soi and the late Jane Soi.
He was Father of Charles Bett (Bomet), Nancy Rugut (Longisa), Edna Tangus (Chepsir), Hellen Sang (Narok), Jeniffer Langat (Narok), Joyce Koech (Keringet), Janet Momanyi (Kericho), Emmy Sang (County Referral Hosp. – Kericho), Dorothy Soi (Sitoka Comprehensive School – Transmara), Justice Alice Bett (Kakamega), Janeth Soi (Kenya Prisons -Busia.), Emily Kalya (Moi Siongiroi Girls), Stanley Bett (Kebeneti Secondary), Caroline Okunga (Busia County Referral Hosp.), Nicholas Bett (Judiciary – Nakuru), Dr. Joan Kiyeng (MTRH – Eldoret), Gladys Rono (Mononwet Comprehensive School), and Lorna Mang’era (Nairobi).
He was grandfather of Gilbert, Patrick, Mercylline, Nimrod & Dr.Charlene among many others.
He was Great-grandfather to many and great-great-grandfather of five.
He was father-in-law of Christopher Tangus, Hon Franklin Bett, Edna Bett and Sheila Bett among others.
The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home, Siloam on Wednesday 9th July 2025 for a Funeral service on Thursday, 10th July 2025 at Bukacha Primary School –Kiromwok Location – Bomet County.
Thereafter, his remains will be interred at his home in Kapsilibwo village.
