It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Peter Kariuki Mbogo, a Research Scientist at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), which occurred on 15th September 2026 after a short illness.
He was the beloved and devoted husband of Anne Mumaki and loving father of Kelvin Gitonga, Prince Mwenda (Kings & Queens Academy), Precious Princess Mwende (Kings & Queens Academy), and Praise Patience Pendo Makena (Bisvli School).
The cortege will leave Galaways Funeral Home on Friday 25th September 2026, at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at St. John Catholic Church, Kathangariri. Thereafter the cortege will proceed to his home in Mutundu Village, Kathangariri, Embu, where he will be laid to rest.
