It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Dr. George Kinyanjui Njihia who went to be with the Lord on 12th September 2026 after an illness bravely borne. He hails from Kangui Village, Mung’aria Sub-Location, Kandara Constituency and Kihara Estate, Township Ward, Kiharu Constituency in Murang’a County.
He is a beloved son of Matthew Njihia Njoroge and the late Lucia Milka Wangari. Son in law of the late Harrison Ndundu Kimandu and the late Grace Wanjiru Ndundu (Nyeri).
Dr. Njihia is survived by his loving wife Anne Muthoni Kinyanjui, his children Martin Njihia & Brigid Chelangat (Embakasi), Antony Ndundu & Maure Injairu (Nakuru), Samuel Njoora (County Government of Murang’a), Lucy Wangari (Ashitiva Advocates LLP) and Grace Wanjiru (PwC) and his grand children Amaria, Muthoni, Tilya Wangari, Leilah Wanjiru and Hailey Muthoni.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Murang’a Court yard hotel (Murang’a Town), Kangui Village and Holy Family Basilica Nairobi from Monday 21/09/2026 at 5:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home (Kabati) on Friday 25th September 2026 at 8:00 a.m. for a Church Service at his Samary Farm in Maragua starting at 10:00 a.m. and interment thereafter.
