It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Geoffrey Kipkemboy Kimaioyo Mengich, former Chief Officer – Roads, Elgeyo Marakwet County on 11th September 2026 in Eldoret, after a short illness.
He was the beloved son of Rtd. Mwalimu Jonathan Kimaioyo Arap Mengich and Esther Mengich of Tulwobei Village, Kabiemit Ward, Keiyo South Constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet County (EMC).
He was husband of Susan Chepsiror, Loving father of Jubei Kiprop, Neela Jepchirchir and Christian Kiprono. He was the dotting grandfather of Adrian Kiprop.
The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Funeral Home on Friday 25th September 2026 for an overnight vigil at home.
The funeral service and burial to take place on Saturday, 26th September 2026 at Tulwobei primary school thereafter the burial at his home in Tulwobei, Tumeiyo, Keiyo South Constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
