We take solace in the realization that he has just been rejoined in eternal bliss with his beloved wife of 54 years – Mildred Dorcas Akelo Abala who preceded him to Eternal Glory.
Most cherished and adored father of Isaac Odero, Jacob Woga, Lorna Abala, David Ogero, late Albert Woga, Boniface Abala, Caroline Adega, Dona Okok, Linda Arito and Hellen Anyango.
Adored and loving grandfather of Brian, Luke, Owen, Bill, Sasha, Lynn, Leon, Gigi, Darren, Davis, Diva, Michelle-Jennifer, Andy, Mily/Mildred, Boniface Junior, Israel, Ted, Tyrese, Tatty, Treasure, Hasley, Ariana, Kendra, Gweth and Haben. Great Grandfather of Terrick, Mildred Abby and Albert Alu.
Prayers and funeral planning meetings are being held daily at his residence in Lavington Henrik Villas, Amboseli Gardens and at his rural home in Rawalo village, Gem.
Major fundraising is slated for Tuesday September 15, 2026 at All Saints Cathedral from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will take place at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 2:00 p.m.
The cortege leaves Nairobi on Friday 18th by morning flight to land in Kisumu by 7:30 a.m., then proceed for a church service at the Nyamminia ACK Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by night vigil at his Rawalo home.
Funeral service and burial will be held at his home in Rawalo Village, Gem Siaya County on Saturday September 19, 2026 commencing at 10:00 a.m.
