It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Gertrude Wanjiku Muchiru, who went to be with the Lord on 2nd September 2026.
Gertrude Wanjiku Muchiru was the cherished wife of Jesse Muchiru Kanja.
Mother of Kanja and Margaret, Chege and Jane, Kuria and Kamau and Lucy.
Grandmother of Serene Wanjiku, Jesse Muchiru, Gertrude Wanjiku, Charles Kigwe and Sarah Mumbi.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers at ACK St Francis Church, Karen, on Sunday, 6th September 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Monday, 7th September 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 9th September 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at ACK St Francis Church, Karen.
Interment to follow thereafter.
