With deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Catherine Nthiwa, which occurred on September 2nd 2026 at Coptic Hospital.
She was a loving wife of Francis Nthiwa, a devoted mother of Jacinta Muthike, Irene Kanini, Petronilla Ndanu, late Thomas Nthiwa, Mercy Mueni, Christbell Ndugne and Joakim Nzioki.
Mother-in-law of Martin Chabi and Kevin Ayacko.
Grandmother of Mutheu, Kacey, Cate, Myles, Jeslyn, Elliana, Amy and Nala.
Sister of Joseph, Mary, Peter, Anna, Teresia, Sabina, Francis, Augustine, Philomena, Josephine and Charles.
Family, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily at Gallas Garden Resort in Syokimau from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for funeral arrangements.
There will be a mini Harambee and final meeting on Wednesday September 9th 2026.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home in Machakos on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 7:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at her home in Kibantu, Katulani, Inyolila Village.
