It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Gideon Indeche (Prof) which occurred on 21st August 2026.
He was beloved husband of the late Julia Indeche.
Loving father to Sophie Sifuma, Dorcas Indeche, Henry Indeche and Charles Indeche.
Cherished father-in-law of Andrew Sifuma, Albert Makokha and Julia Ndehu.
Grandfather of Jeremy, Ryan, Leilani, Ekati, Maria and Abigail.
He was son of the late Sophie Okutoyi and the late Aggrey Indeche.
Gideon was son-in-law of the late Henry and Catherine Ochingwa.
Brother of the late David, Herbert, the late Felica, the late Sara, the late Ayuma, the late Mary, Allan, Peres Nganyi and Peres Kabarasi.
Brother-in-law of Grace, Martha, Betty, Richard, Hosea and the late Rose.
Uncle of Dan, Riziki, Caro, Rachel, Sharon, Ben among others.
Friend to many.
He will be laid to rest on Saturday 29th August 2026 at his home in Lunza village, Butere, Kakamega County after the funeral service at Lunza Primary School.
