It’s with great sadness and sorrow but with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Daniel Nyaga Kienge, formerly Assistant Director of Ministry of Trade, which occurred on 19th August 2026.
Beloved husband of Immaculate Wamugo, formerly of Ministry of Agriculture.
Devoted father of Peter (Ministry of Lands), Ann (Ministry of Interior), Mumbi (Delmonte), Mutugi (Ministry of Lands), the late Mbogo, Mercy (Ministry of Labor), and Loise (Netherlands).
Guardian to Kenan (Murang’a University).
Father-in-law of Dorothy (Embu County) and Rotich (Evidence Action).
Grandfather of Tamara, Ernest, Aziel, Myles and Chemutai.
Son of the late Laban Kienge and late Ludia Gikuyu.
Brother of the late Njue, Ciarunji, the late Kanini, Wangari, Njuki, Njeru, Muchiri.
Son-in-law of late Njeru Kabingiriti and Charity Maitha.
Brother-in-law of late Njuki and late Mukami, Iyaa and late Ndwiga, late Susan and late Kirugutu, Muringo and late Maweu, Kavingi and Gladys, Dr Rev Sicily and Muriithi, Yembu and Mba, Pst Isaac, Njue (UN) and Faith, Gichoni, Mutembei, Nancy, Keziah.
The burial meetings are taking place at his residence in Uvangori Farmlands, Kienire and Nyama Zone Ishiira, Embu County.
The cortege leaves Tenri Hospital Ena at 9:00 a.m. on Friday 28th August 2026 for a funeral service at his home in Kienire North Village, Kienire Sub-location, Ndurumori Location, Evarore Ward, Mbeee North Sub-county, Embu County.
