MAMA FLORA AGAI OKONJI – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

With heavy hearts and in profound acceptance of God’s will, we, the Okonji family, announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Sister in Christ, Mama Flora Agai Okonji of Seme Kolunje.

Mama Flora was born on 28 August 1929. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin Okonji Odero, and the daughter of the late James Akeyo and mama Elisha Ogutu. She was a sister of the late counselor Ismail Awaya, Mama Selina Ondego, and Dorcas Olongo.

She was a loving mother of Dr. Mark Manasseh Okonji, the late Aggrey Onyango, Engineer Michael Ezekial Okonji, the late Charles Ted Otieno, Dorca Opiyo, Henry Okonji, the late Bon Dick, the late Erick Owino, Sam Okonji and Maurice Omondi.

She was a devoted mother-in-law of Grace Okonji, Risper Okonji, the late Monica Okonji, Henry Akama, Ida Okonji, Rose Okonji, Dorine Mbuya, Nasha Ng’alamu Okonji and Lucie Okonji.

She was a loving grandmother of James, Noelle, Jan, Daphine, David, Dazha, Timothy, Abigail, Dean, Rose, the late Mark, Susan, Teddy, Als, Andy, the late William, Eluid, Eunice, Amos, Millicent, Vincent, Purity, Martin, Dan, Martin, Christopher, Flora, Vincent, Wilgift, the late Proscus, Victor, the late Don, Winnie, Kevin, Kenneth, Erick, Jacky, Florence, Marin, Grace, Edrin, Godwill, Hawi and Gyan. She is survived by 33 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s ACK Church, Got Nyango, on 15 October 2026. Burial will take place on 16 October 2026 at her home in Seme Kolunje.
