It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Grace Opiyo Aringo, who passed away at the Coptic Hospital, Nairobi. Daughter of the late Josphat Mosi Nduri and the late Dorina Ndaweko Mosi, and step-daughter of the late Damaris Ngere Mosi of Kanyongo, Kendu Bay.
Beloved wife of the late Reuben Aringo Othoo of Kano Kochogo and Tondo Village, Muhoroni, and co-wife of Alice Aringo. Beloved mother of Esther and Brian Mkusi (USA), Richard Aringo, Rasper and Prof Odera Oruka, John Aringo (Judiciary), the late Lucy Aringo, Edwin and Anne Aringo, Lily and Kenneth Muthama, Mike Aringo, Stephen Othoo (Nairobi), Chris, Owiny, Shikuku and Atieno.
There will be a fundraiser on Tuesday 6th October 2026 at All Saints Cathedral, from 5.00pm.
The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi, on Friday 9th October 2026, for Muhoroni, Kisumu County. The burial ceremony will be held on Saturday, 10th October 2026, at her farm in Tondo Village, Muhoroni.
Mama, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith.
