PROF. GERALD NGUGI KIMANI – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Prof. Gerald Ngugi Kimani, who peacefully answered the call of the Lord on 18th September 2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Peter Ngugi and the late Grace Nyambura; brother of the late John Githinji, the late Margaret Wairimu, Joseph Njoroge, Samuel Njenga, Jane Muriithi and Sr. Hannah Ngugi of the Sisters of Mercy.

He was a loving husband of Ann Wanjiru and the late Joyce Wairimu, and a devoted father of Peter Ngugi & Rachel, Godfrey Kabutha & Hellen, Grace Nyambura, Mercy Wambui and Margaret Wairimu.

The cortege Leaves KU Funeral Home at 6:00 a.m. on Friday 25th September 2026. Burial on 25th September 2026 at his home in Githabai, South Kinangop, Nyandarua County.
