It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that the Nikriti family announces the untimely promotion to eternal glory of Mr Julius Mwongela Nikriti, a retired accountant of Kenya Utalii College.
Julius was a devoted husband to Sarah Mwendwa Mwongela and loving father to Fred Mwongera (KRA) and Tirza Nkonge (Business Lady), Alfred Temeshya (Businessman) and Irene Mwongera, Tony Mwongera and Gertrude Ntarangwi (KPLC), Martin Mwongera (ODPP) and Karel Mwenda (Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs).
Doting granddad to Kiprop, Mwendwa, Mutethia, Kome, Muthomi, Kathure, Mugambi and Murilithi.
Son of the late Harrison M’Nikriti and the late Clobalkyu, the late Clomubwika and Clotharichia.
Affectionate brother to the late Ntarangwi, the late Kamunturiu, the late Mururu, Kalbung’a, Kirikiru, Munanu, Kajuju, Kabirithu, Kalinyorokia, Kinanu, the late Mwari, Karimi and Kanini.
He mentored and impacted the lives of many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Kariokor Methodist Church today (Wednesday 5th August 2026 at 3:00 p.m.).
Julius will be laid to rest on Saturday 8th August 2026 at his Nchuul Home, Muthara, Tigania Sub-County, Meru County.
