It is with humble acceptance and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing on of our beloved Samuel Kung’u Muriu formerly of Sotik Tea Estate that occurred on Friday 11th September 2026.
He was son of George Muriu Kung’u and Ruth Wangui Njunge Muriu.
Samuel was the loving husband of Juliet Nyambura and father of Ariella Wangui Kung’u.
Samuel was a beloved brother of Yvonne Wangui Muriu, Essie Wanjiru Muriu and Edna WanJiku Muriu.
Family and friends are gathering daily at his father’s home Thika Happy Valley to offer their support and prayers.
The cortege leaves Uplands Funeral Home on Friday 18th September 2026 at 8:00 a.m. The funeral service and burial will follow at their family home in Kinyogori Ngarariga Limuru at 10:00 a.m.
