It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Samuel Chemonges Ngeywo on 31/08/2026 after an illness bravely borne.
He was son of the late Pkalei Maua & Chachi Ngeywo and stepson of Murosi & Chesekut.
Loving husband of the late Everlyn Kisa Kwaliya Chemonges.
Brother of the late Rebecca, the late Priscilla, Selina, Philomena, Selpha, late Luka, Phanice and the late Cheromoi.
Loving father of Teresa Chepkorir (Kimobo), Alex Ngeywo (Motherland Kaptama), Job Kibet (Kebee), Nancy Cheruto Monoo (Kipkama School), Sarah Ngeywo Korir (USA), Christine Tamnai (Naibei), Rael Cherotich (Cheptais), Kwalla Emmanuel (Kubura Sec Sch), Leonard Kiprono (Nairobi), Diana Cherotich (Nairobi), Hilda Chepkwemoi (Changewyo), Ambrose Kiptoo (Kebee), Ruth Chemtai (ICS Nairobi).
The cortege will leave Delight Funeral Home- Kimilili on Wednesday, 16th September 2026 for a requiem Mass at Kaptaboi Catholic Church. The viewing of the body at his Kaptama residence. At 3:00 p.m. the cortege leaves for an overnight vigil at his Kebee home, Kopsiro, Mt. Elgon.
He will be laid to rest on Thursday 17th September 2026 at his home.
