We regret to announce the death of Mr. Wilson Mwangi Bari (Rtd. Snr. Chief Rutune Location, Mukurwe-ini Division) of Rugi Ward, Mukurweini Constituency, Nyeri County on 2nd September 2026 after a long battle with illness.
He was the son of the late Bari Nderi-Imwe and the late Susan Mukami.
He was the beloved husband of Jane Wangari and father of Wanyoike, Bari, Kirega, Kiragu, Mutahi and Wanjiku.
He was grandfather of Mumbi, Newton, Casey, Mark, Linet, Pauline, Victor, Austin, Brandon, Njoki and Brian.
He was a brother of Gathoni, Kirega, the late Wambui, Mutahi, Maina, Njoki, and the late Muthara and Wangui.
He was a son-in-law of the late Solomon Wanyoike and the late Gladwell Wanjiru of Kiangungu village Kangema Murang’a.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Nguo-ini village, Mukurwe-ini Constituency.
The cortege leaves Mwai Kibaki Referral Hospital Othaya Funeral Home on Friday, 11th September 2026 for funeral and burial rites at his home in Nguo-ini village, Mukurwe-ini Constituency.
