It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Priscilla Mwenesi Chune of Shihiliila Village, Makhaaga Sublocation, Naitiri Location, Bungoma County, on 30th August 2026.
Mama Priscilla was the loving wife of the late Mwalimu Jonathan Chune and the beloved daughter of Mzee Musa Khazalwa and Mama Sarah Mukhunj of Mungavo Village in Hamisi Subcounty, Vihiga County.
Mother of Branice Ashioya, late Noah Chune, late Evans Chune, late Fred Chune, Stephen Chune, Joyce Chune and Roy Chune.
Mother-in-law of Mr Silvester Ashioya, late Grace Chune, Bilha Chune, Jacqueline Chune, Rosemary Chune, and the late Jacob Wanyama.
Grandmother of 27 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 17 great-grandchildren.
The body will be removed from Kiminini Cottage Hospital on Friday 11th September 2026. The funeral will be held in Shihiliila Village, Makhaaga Sublocation, Naitiri Location, Bungoma County on 12th September 2026.
