It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Betty Kirigo Wanduto on Tuesday, 4th August 2026.
She was the loving wife of Charles Wanduto Kihoro.
Mother of Maurice Kihoro Wanduto and Geraldine Mwihaki Wanduto.
Grandmother of Alexander Wanduto Kihoro.
Daughter of the late Geoffrey M’Njogu and the late Salome Karambu.
Daughter-in-law of the late Moses Kihoro and the late Priscilla Mwihaki.
Sister of the late David Mutua, the late Jane Karimi, the late Julius Mwenda, the late Jacob Kinoti, Elizabeth Kinyua, Catherine Maguta, Lydia Mutuma and Frank Muthomi.
Sister-in-law of the late George Mutahi, the late Benard Kirembu, the late Joram Waruhiu, Jemimah Njuguna, Lydiah Kihoro and Gerald Ndirangu.
She was an aunt and cousin to many.
Family and friends will have a prayer meeting at All Saints Cathedral today 10th August 2026 from 5:30 p.m.
The requiem service will be at Lee Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, 12th August 2026 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 13th August 2026 at 7:00 a.m. for the funeral at her rural home in Kangaita, Tetu, Nyeri County.
