It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Rose Wanjiku Muthui, which occurred on Friday, 31st July 2026 following a short illness.
She was beloved daughter of the late Raphael Muthui Ngunjiri and Hellen Wanjugu Muthui.
Mother of Simon Ndung’u, Raphael Muthui and Anastacia Muringo.
Sibling of Francis Wachira, the late Priscilla Wamahiga, Patrick Ngunjiri, Anthony Mwaniki and Jane Wangeci.
Sister-in-law of Sophia Wachira, the late Bernard Kibe, Lillian Njeri and Charles Mwangi.
Aunt of Raphael Wachira, Catherine Wanjugu, Abigail Wanjiru, Peterson Mahwa, Raphael Mwaniki, James Mwaniki, Brian Muthui, Joy Nyawira, Ian Kariuki, Seth Maina and several others.
Grandmother of Nathan Muthui.
Friends and family are meeting daily at their home at Kiriita at 3:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Pope Benedict XVI Catholic Hospital, Nyahururu, on Friday, 7th August 2026 at 8:30 a.m. for funeral mass.
Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at their family farm in Kiriita, Ndaragwa Constituency, Nyandarua County.
