We regret to announce the untimely death of Dr.David Ayah Ounah, Director of Laboratory Services (DLS Kabete), State Department for Livestock (SDL).
Son of the late Michael Pius Ouna and Mama Dolphine Auma Ouna. Husband of Pauline Ayah Ounah, father of Roseline Khalayi Ounah, Gloria, Benjamin, Cosmas, Martha, Michelle, Grace and Claire.
Brother of the late Charles Lwanga, Rose Masese, Consolata Ouna, Gaudencia Mwasame, Tom Ouna, Benadette Ouna, Emmanuel Ounah, Phidelis Ounah(USA) and Patrick Ouna.
Nephew of the late Martin Ouna, Lawrence Ouna, Helena, the late Mama Calasina, Wanzala, Uncle of Okeyo, Elizabeth, Carol, Lucy, Michael, Willys, Brian, Duncan, Cosmas and many more.
In-law of Masese, Mwasame, Christine, Catherine, Rhoda, Nixon, Benson, Hellen, Anne among others.
Cousin of Joseph Ojwang, Omolo, Ouma, Emmanuel, Gilbert among others. Grandfather of Cecile Mwikali Ouna.
He will be laid to rest on 4 th October, 2025 at his home in Mayuli village (Upendo), Kimilili Constituency, Bungoma County.
Harambee on 30th September, 2025 from 5.00 pm at Holy Family Basilica-Nairobi, Requiem mass on 2nd October at St. Raphael’s Catholic church, Kabete.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 3rd October, funeral service at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church-Kimilili same day.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 5.00p.m at his Nairobi home-Kabete Vetlabs and upcountry-Mayuli village home.
