It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Andrew Wekesa Masinde, which occurred on 18 th September, 2025 in Joska, Machakos County, after a short illness.
Until his demise, Andrew was an employee of the Parliamentary Service Commission.
Andrew was a cherished son of Richard and Janet Masinde, a devoted husband of Angela Nasimiyu and Holidah Wamboi and a doting father of Tracy, Holidah K, Lorraine, Cynthia, Luther and Mitchelle.
He was a dear brother of Elizabeth, Kennedy, the late Aggrey, Benson, Perez, Sarah, Harrison, Caleb, Terry, Peninah, Sally, and Titus.
He was a brother-in-law of Josphat, Catherine, Florence, Frank, Geoffrey, Gladys, James, Phillip, and Timothy.
Andrew was a beloved Uncle of Daniel, Emmanuel, Ezekiel, Mercy, Faith, Gloria, Beryl, Nicole K, Ivy, Nicole M, Chelsy, Carl, Glory, Krispie, Laura, Mabele and Idah.
The family has organized a fundraising to help offset the funeral expenses at the All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Wednesday, 24th September, 2025 from 5.00pm and at the Namanjalala home in Kitale on Wednesday, 24th September, 2025.
A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, 25th September, 2025 at St Paul’s University Chapel (Opposite United Kenya Club).
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday, 26th September, 2025 for his Kitale town residence where a funeral service will be held.
Burial will take place on Saturday, 27th September, 2025, at the family home in Namanjalala Village, Kitale, starting at 9:00 a.m.
