It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Rose Anisha Nyambura Gathogo – Ngatunyi.
She was the first born child of the late Catherine Njeri Gathogo. Grand-daughter of the late Mrs.Peris Nyambura Gathogo.
Wife of the late Simon Chabi Ngatunyi. She was mother of Lilian Muthoni, the late Eric Chabi, Brian Kang’ethe, Felix Muthura and Reagan Chabi.
She was sister of Faridah Khalid (Shiro) Vanessa Gathogo, Kiki Ahmed and Hashim Ahmed.
She was sister-in law of the late Catherine and Eustance Muraguri the late Apollo Muthura, Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Wachuga (Mama Irene) the late Eliud & Rose Kimotho, Mary Nyambura and the late Harrison & Susan Kinyua, Christopher Gachara and Sam Kihanya. Auntie to many.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025 at Lavington United Church at 11.00am.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Thursday, 25th September, 2025 at 7.00am for burial and interment at Kirimukuyu village, Kaiyaba location, Karatina, on the junction of Bishop Ng’andu Girls.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
