It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Cosmas Mwanzia Mutunga, which occurred on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, while undergoing treatment at KNH Prime Care Centre (KPCC) Born on March 27, 1954, in Kyale Village, Makueni County.
Cosmas was the second-born son of the late Mutunga Yatta and Tabitha Mukei Mutunga.
He was a loving brother of Francis Mutiso (late), Joseph Muthiani (late), Josphat Kyumwa (late), James Komu (late), John Mutie, and Ellena Mbaki (late).
Cosmas was a loving and committed husband of Beth Mueni, and together they were blessed with four children: Pascalia Mwende, Charles Mutuku, Patrick Kyalo, and Mary Nthenya.
Father-in-law of Riungu Muchai, Caroline Mutanu, Cleopatra Akinyi & Grandfather of Nkatha, Mwenda, Ndanu, Milan, Mutheu, Mumbe & Hawi.
Interment September, 27th 2025 10:00 AM Kyale Village, Makueni County.
