It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of 2nd Lieutenant Synthia Awour Mboya, which occurred on the night of 24th December 2025 in Osingo within Migori County.
Synthia was the third-born daughter of Mr.Julius Openda Mboya and Mrs. Lorna Akello.
Step daughter of Millicent and Judith.
She is survived by her siblings Ashel, Volen, Phabish, Modanda, Kelly, Willing, Idah, Sylvia, Valary and Dona, and her step-siblings Brian, Atur, Lyne, Kim.
She was married to Mr. George Odeka of Osingo, and their union was blessed with a son, Jamal Carson Ochieng.
Synthia will be laid to rest on 9 th January 2026 at Kituka Village, Karapolo Sub-Location, Central Kadem Location, Nyatike North Sub-County, Migori County.
